Who we are
Escalay ("Escalay", "we", "us") is a sole proprietorship owned by Yuvraj Singh Thakur and based in India. We build AI voice agents for real estate developers.
This policy covers two things: personal data we collect through escalay.com, and personal data we handle when we provide our service to a real estate developer.
What we collect on this website
- Call bookings. When you book a call, our scheduling tool, Cal.com, collects your name, email address, and anything you write in the booking form.
- Emails. When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit, how they found us, their approximate location, and the device and browser they use. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to measure visits and page speed.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
How we use it
We use this data to reply to your enquiry, schedule and hold calls, understand how the website is used so we can improve it, and keep the site secure. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
Data we handle for our clients
When a real estate developer uses Escalay, our AI voice agents call people who have enquired about that developer's projects. In that work:
- The developer decides whose data is used and for what purpose. Lead details and call recordings belong to the developer.
- Escalay does not store this data. Call recordings stay on the developer's own servers, and call outcomes, such as a summary, qualification details, and a booked callback time, are written to the developer's own systems, such as their CRM.
- Calls are made within permitted calling hours, and numbers registered on the Do Not Disturb (DND) registry are removed before calling, in line with TRAI regulations.
If you received a call and want to know what data is held about you, or want it corrected or deleted, contact the developer you enquired with. You can also write to us and we will pass your request on.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only with providers that help us run the website and our business: Vercel (hosting and site analytics), Google (Google Analytics), Cal.com (call scheduling), and our email provider. We may also disclose data when the law requires it.
Some of these providers process data outside India.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct, complete, or erase it, withdraw consent you have given, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.
To make a request or raise a complaint, email yuvraj@escalay.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data. No website or system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is meant for businesses. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
